Ew ew ew. I am sick! My throat is all yucky and my nose is running :( To add more to this sucky predicament my Jessica left on the plane yesterday. Right now she'll be at a hotel in L.A. I, on the other hand, an stuck at work coughing all over the place. I'll be alright though. The throat thing feels like its going away and as long as I keep taking claratyne the nose thing should be fine. It hasn't sunk in yet that she's gone. I think it will sometime next week. Not sure how I'm going to feel. In other news, I've decided to take the rest of the year off tafe. That might come as a shock to some people but I've got some good reasons for it. Firstly, I am struggling a bit in certain areas. I put this down to some sort of stress. I think. Another thing is that while i like half of the subjects (dealing with computers and maths), I don't like the rest of them (the ones dealing with physics and project planning). I'm going to apply for that Uni course that I've mentioned before at the end of the year. If all goes well I will be studying Computer Systems Engineering at Latrobe by the start of next year. In the meantime I'm going to try and get more work. Either get more shifts at work or get a second job. I wouldn't mind a second job actually. I'd like to work at a video store. I reckon it'd be cool. I know the owner of devoted dvd, if I play my cards right I might be able to score a job. Tomorrow is the big party! The party of parties! It's Matt's super evil awesome 21st birthday fancy dress party of doom! I an going as a hazardous package. I have a bubble wrap suit with some warning stickers and some silvery tape. It looks awesome. I was going to hire a costume (first a banana, then a vb can) but I didn't have the money to waste. It's a shame that Jess is going to miss this party. There will be a few more that she will miss also. Oh well, back to work.

Sitting in my car near school. The world is cold today. I'm feeling pretty good though considering the circumstances. My day is the new Gorillaz album on repeat. At about 5.30 I've got a presentation to do. My group and I have designed a mechatronic system that puts objects into a box (sounds interesting huh?). If there's already something in the box the system knows not to put anything in that one. I was up til 2 a.m. last night doing the powerpoint presentation. I'm basically going to bluff my way through ten minutes of standing up in front of the class. I was also meant to make a 3d AutoCad design of the system as well but, after not touching that program in half a year, I have lost all my knowledge! I need to look over the book again. I have a test in 10 minutes. Applied Electricity. The teacher is one of the worst. I don't think he actually knows what he's teaching because he's always holding the book when writing on the board and when you ask him about something related to the subject he ums and ahs before saying he doesn't know and quickly moves on. I'm almost sick of this course. I like the computer side of it but not the engineering side. Oh well, hopefully I pass this semester which leaves me only one year from finishing the course and moving on. 3 more sleeps til my Jess goes away. 6 mores sleep til Matt's fancy dress 21st b'day party! I'm going as a Vb can :)

Alrighty! Thanks to the great help of Jess I can now post to my blog straight from my mobile. This amazes me quite thoroughly. I'm not sure exactly how much I can send at one time but we can soon work that out. Using this feature will mean I can now "Blog on the run", or rather "Blog on the walk". (I wouldn't recommend blogging on the run as this could lead to all sorts of injuries and pain etc.). My Jessica goes away on the 10th which is going to be a sad day for me. I've taken the day off work so I can just kick back and think about her for the rest of the day. 2 and a half months will be weird without seeing her. For the last 5 months i've seen her at least every second day. Oh well, i'll just have to deal. Anyways, onwards muchachos!
